A Trail Camp?!

It's more than just a trail camp... It’s a running celebration! This summer, join me in Davos — the highest city in Europe, nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps — for an unforgettable trail running experience.

We'll be running on high alpine terrain at elevations reaching 2,700 meters (8,860 feet) above sea level, swim in crystal-clear glacier lakes, and dive into everything you need to know about running on technical trails.

Whether you're a complete beginner taking your first steps off-road or a seasoned runner chasing your next challenge, this is your chance to connect with a passionate, like-minded community — and make memories that will last a lifetime.

What's Included?

  • Three nights in a superior double room at a 4-star mountain resort (Mountain Plaza Davos), complete with sauna and spa.

    • Private rooms are available upon request (with additional charge).

  • A daily buffet breakfast at the hotel.

  • Gala dinner on the last camp night

  • Use of local bus transportation

  • Transport to the trails including local trains and/or cable car

  • Personal guidance to improve your trail running by a sports medical doctor.

  • A goodie bag with merch (e.g., t-shirt, socks) and discount coupons.

  • A surprise prize.

Travel costs, tourist tax, lunch, and dinner besides gala dinner are not included.

CAMP DATES

This year, our camps will be organized by running level. In the mixed-level camps, we aim to create groups based on ability, depending on the number of available supporters.

Our supporters will rotate between groups, guiding each run to ensure every participant receives the attention and encouragement they need.

In the case that fewer than four supporters are available, we’ll adapt the group structure based on participants’ skill levels , so everyone can enjoy a safe, fun, and rewarding trail running experience

¡Hola!

I'm Elena Lopez — a Davos-based medical doctor and ultra runner. I was born and raised in Asturias in the north of Spain before I moved to Switzerland after graduating medical school. Switzerland soon became my home and it's where I completed my medical residency and became an Attending in Sports Medicine in a Swiss Olympic medical center, where I work with athletes from all around the world and provide medical coverage to sport events like trail running races, cross-country races and ice hockey matches.

You probably know me from Instagram where I share how I balance my demanding job as a doctor in the Swiss Alps with  my passion for ultra running!

I hold 5 Fastest Known Time records, including:

  • Via Alpina in Switzerland — 404 km +22,000m

  • Brissago-Dufourspitze — 170 km +8,000m

    • From the lowest to the highest point in Switzerland!

This year I'm tackling two major ultra running projects:

  • Great Himalayan Trail — 1,600 km +100,000m
